About Us

In 2010 Art Soiree was referred to as the best artistic entity in Washington D.C. by Yahoo News and in 2011 Washington Post published a two page cover article “Stroke of a Genius” about Art Soiree™ company, for 2012 our goal is to continue with the new ideas and projects!

With a simple goal of transforming Washington into the arts capital of the nation Art Soiree™ has been taking DC by storm for the past 3 years.

The first soiree, organized in September 2009, featured live jazz, photographs, paintings and a short film. The event was a great success with more than 500 friends and friends of friends showing up on a Sunday evening. That signaled that something was missing in the D.C. social scene. Since then, trying to combine appreciation of art in a more comfortable setting, Art Soiree™’s duo has successfully organized over 100 shows, representing over 300 artists of different mediums and genres, bringing together close to 30,000 attendees.

“Art is how we express ourselves as human…Especially D.C. – it’s very international, very cultured…Why should New York appreciate art more than us?” – Sandro, founder of Art Soiree™.

Since 2009 Art Soiree™s goal has been to showcase emerging talent in the visual arts, short film, music, literature and performance art.

Here at Art Soiree™ we work with emerging artists to encourage in their development of artistic skills in a variety of media. Unlike at a typical art gallery, we at Art Soiree™ do not charge artists fees or any commission on any of the sales, rather acts as a fee free independent artist publicist.

Through our events we make an attempt to cultivate a greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of art in its many forms. We try to present programs that enhance the experience of every single attendee; allowing each guest – from the most novice spectator to the most sophisticated critic – to see, touch, feel, hear and experience the art in a unique way. Whether it’s while they are walking through the space, sipping on a cocktail, or having a conversation, we hope to satisfy cultural sensibilities of each one.
