With a touch of art, style and humor, Art Soiree will unveil what 2012 will bring us!
This one of a kind exhibition will feature works of the most renowned editorial and political cartoonists such as:

With simple pen strokes these cartoonist foreshadow the future, poke fun at the past and imply hidden motives in ways that elude written or spoken report. The result of this creative license is a unique perspective on future—entertaining, clever, and insightful.
To further the speculations on the year to come reporters armed with their musical talent and rock start looks will hit the stage.
SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE: the local journo-band, will deliver fun and high-energy performance.
The contents of Suspicious Package are:
Tom Toles (Pulitzer Prize-Winning Editorial Cartoonist at The Washington Post),
Dr. Christina Sevilla (Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative), Bryan Greene (Deputy Assistant Secretary of HUD), Tim Berger (Journalist, former TIME and Bloomberg correspondent), and Josh Meyer (Director of Education and Outreach, National Security Journalism Initiative at Medill Northwestern).
The opening party will also feature the music by DJ Neekola, International DC-based female DJ and producer, who will perform along with live percussionist KAMAJIAN, as well as special guest performance by DJ MANIFESTO, an all-time DC favorite who by both DJing and playing the violin with his sets impresses even the most refined musical tastes.
